Packaging Specialties Inc. was founded by Hays Biggs in 1974 to provide the U.S. poultry industry with the high quality printed films it needed. He saw a company that did one thing, and did it better than anyone else, or as Hays puts it, stay "Busy Being Better!" We've come a long way in the last quarter century, always holding to this ideal.

We've pioneered the use of printed PVC film in the fresh and frozen tray pack industry. We developed new films and package designs that enabled our customers to meet their ever changing market demands with ease and increasing profitability. We implemented the use of anti-fog additives for film clarity and Super SealTM for leak-proof packages, on-package promotional copy, coupons and printed recipes to replace inserts and labels.

In 1979 we opened our machine division-Pacmac, Inc.-to meet the ever-increasing challenges facing technical in-plant machinery service and support. With printing and machinery service technicians, we were able to provide our customers a complete service and support team under one roof.
Today our single-mindedness has made us one of the largest providers of printed films and packaging machinery in the country, and we are always Busy Being Better
